Kalyana Kalpataruvu is a free Brahmin Matrimonial Information Centre in the service of Brahmins of entire Country and World rendering requirement based matching computerized service since 1996. It was started by our illustrious founder Late Sri K. Chittaranjan Das decades ago and improved later by our Honourable Chief Organization, ever since the expiry of our founder in the year 1987.
Kalyana Kalpataruvu often called as KKT has excellent rapport with all Brahmin Associations and Matrimonial Information Centers (MIC’s) in A. P. and also other States. With the divine blessings of His Holiness Sri Siva Chidananda Bharathi Swami of Courtallam, Tamilnadu computerized service was started in the year 1996. Ever since computer print outs are being given to thousands of parents since last 15 years every Sunday, free of cost. In 1997, with blessings of Sri Vidya Nrisimha Bharathi Swami of Pushpagiri Peetam and generous help from donors. KALYANA SAMRAMBHAM 1997 was conducted on December 25th for the first time Where in about 1500 Brides/Grooms/Parents had participated. A printed booklet of about 500 Brides/Grooms details was distributed FREE OF COST TO ALL. Highlight of the event was titled by leading English Daily “DECCAN CHRONICLE” as “COMPUTER PLAYS CUPID WITH CYBERAGE SITA” on its main page.

Year wise Improvements
1988-93:
Release of periodical list and circulation of the same among other MIC’s with advice on deletion of all married grooms. KKT could get strengthened by a team of 10 volunteers and could organize a mini convention at Railway School Chilakalguda, Hyderabad.
1994-96:
Planned, convened, coordinated, executed a big convention with joint participation of all MIC’s on 16th May 1993. KKT had single handedly processed about 2000 applications where 450 Brides/Grooms have participated and about 30 matches were settled.
Pellipeeta, Kaadimaanu, and Paavukollu were mobilized by us and started issuing free to the Needy for Marriages.
KKT was elected as Convener for twin cities for first State Level Brahmin Youth Rally on October 22nd 1994 where about 15000 people from entire State converged in BRAHMAGARJANA. As per the wishes of all MIC’s, KKT had played important role in formation of Federation of Andhra Pradesh (Brahmin Matrimonial Information Centers FOBMIC and was elected as Vice Chairman.
In 1995: Launched Computerisation Project of KKT, Contacted Donors and procured a Computer within 3 months, by development of Software Package first of its kind in A.P by conducting an inaugural session at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Basheerbagh, Hyderabad on 10th March 1996.
1997-1998:
Started postal service to Brides/grooms through out the state. Free distribution of lists was started in all Dist.. Attended Matrimonial meet at Vijayawada, Eluru, Rajahmundry, Nellore, Ongole, Amalapuram etc.
Organised first State Level Brahmin Matrimonial Convention on December 25th at Khairatabad, Hyderabad by preparing boys/girls lists and conducted in total privacy at KALYANA SAMRAMBHAM 1997 by arranging private cabins for introduction of brides / grooms as per their requirements.
1999: Attended, Organised 2 days Matrimonial meets at Eluru and Rajahmundry. Anniversary function of Brahmin’s quarterly magazine CHATURMUKHA VANI, and Amalapuram; Shankurmutt, Vijayawada etc.
Planned, Organised, Co-Convened Brahmins Meet for political rights VIPRA-BHERI on August 15th in Hyderabad along with all Brahmin associations.
Conducted 2nd State Level Brahmin Matrimonial Meet on December 25th 1999 at V.V. Kanya Shala Ground, Gowliguda, Hyderabad where about 2000 people participated in this mega event and about 2000 booklets were distributed at free of cost to needy.
2000:
Our Hon. Chief Organiser received “Man Of The Matrimonial Information Award” from Vijayawada Shankurmutt 26th January, participated in Rajahmundry, Nellore, BHEL Hyderabad, Amalapuram, Vijayanagaram, and First Outside state Convention for Telugu Brahmins at Chennai in September. Interacted with doctors, Lawyers, Advocates, and Pandits and attended 2 days matrimonial Meet at Shankurmutt, Vijayawada on 1st and 2nd October 2000 regarding Brahmin’s problems. From January 2000 Started issuing of requirement based matched Brides list to the Bridegrooms to the interested parties on the spot through computer printout every Sunday.
2001-2006:
KKT and its volunteers are always in forefront for any Brahmin Welfare Activities. Our volunteers have participated ,Co-organised various events by many Brahmin associations in their localities/districts. For Ex: Matrimonial conventions, Medical Relief Camps, Blood Donations, Sponsoring education for poor children Helping for poor Brahmin Marriages etc., thus shouldering the responsibility of motivating and achieving Brahmins unity, KKT has actively involved in Brahmana Chaitanya Sadassu, Hyd. Played a key-roll in uniting all the Brahmin Associations of Twin Cities in evolving BRAHMANA AIKYA VEDIKA. KKT worked with other associations again to make BRAHMA GARJANA a grand success on December 27th 2003 at Parade grounds, Secunderabad.
2007-2009:
Our Hon’ Chief Organiser & all our volunteers attended all conventions throughout the state. KKT has distributed thousands of “Kalyana Samrambham” information booklets through out the state and in all districts freely. Conducted 11th Matrimonial Meet on 25th Dec-wherein-like every year-about 2200 Brahmin Brides & Grooms attended from various parts of India and abroad- from continents such as America, Europe Asia. Travelled throughout the state to participate in conventions. Conducted 11th All India level Convention “Kalyana Samrambham” wherein about 2300 registrants attended for the first time in the history of state, Conducted the convention with allotment of cabins to BRIDES who are in present person. Distributed 6000 calendars freely with traditional type in Telugu to English dates. Kalyana Kalpataruvu has emerged as Pioneer in conducting mega annual events for the past 25 years. Silver jubilee conducted during Kalyana Samrambham, 2009. conducted by giving blessings to the brides and grooms by the 25 Veda Pandits, Ghanapati’s in the “Vedha Sabha” at with blessings of his Holyness Sri Sri Sri Shankaracharya of Hampi.
2010:
KKT is pioneer from 1996 in utilizing computers for welfare of the community by giving printouts every Sunday upon requirement based matching system. KKT has just exceeded the ten thousand registrations by personally interacting with parents every Sunday. We are also happy to declare that KKT is pioneer in conducting developing Matrimonial Convention System, which is being widely accepted and followed by other organization. Always participated, executed, responsibly in concerted Brahmin call efforts for asserting the rights of Brahmins in all spheres. Worked with total dedication to make success of all Brahmins, political needs in last decade. The present model of conducting a matrimonial convention among the Brahmin is experimented, designed, executed, reviewed, improved and stood as a role model for conducting conventions by all marriage bureaus through out the state.
Distributed about 33000, thirty thousand matches through Ten information Booklets free of cost to thousands of people spread across the country and also across most of the continents around the world. More than 10000 marriages are reported to be settled in the past one decade.. All media channels are regularly covering the event for the last few years. KKT has established itself in proving that its services are utilized by all classes of community(economically weak, medium, and affluent class of society. Our Volunteers strengthening Bhramin movements by acting participating in it anywhere.
KKT has also taken up free Distribution of Video Sandhya Vandanam CD’s freely for learning, helping poor Brahmins, for marriages and education, scholars, helping people in the way we can, striving for employment opportunities for Brahmins youth etc are some other different activities undertaken by KKT since inception. About 585 marriages are reported settled throughout year of 2012.
LCD Screens, Cabin Displaying Boards with online updating; of Boys/ girls occupancy position, Private Cabins for brides and grooms along with parents to interact, experienced coordinators to assist in cabins; Free Astrological counseling service spot computer horoscope printing facility, Xerox, public telephone canteen, private interaction outside cabins spaced over green lawns are arranged to provide ambience to the event. Booklet contains above 1500 matches shall be distributed free to all registered participants.
KKT does not believe in self-boasting of number of successes. The wide acceptance of parents by way of increase in registrations every year indicates of our sincerity and commitment of service to the community.. Responsible working of our Sunday throughout the year by our volunteers for the past 24 years is a great feat to achieve it. In spite of all this efforts, Volunteers of KKT are not tired and striving hard to establish a full fledged, dependable, reliable matrimonial organization for Brahmins.
